Khaybullinsky Historical and Local Lore Museum
About museum
The Khaybullinsky Historical and Local Lore Museum was established in February 1993 and opened on May 7, 1995, on the eve of the 50th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945. Three hundred veterans of the Great Patriotic War were invited to the ceremony; they planted pine trees and created a flower bed in memory of the victory. Today the museum preserves the spiritual and material culture of the peoples inhabiting our region, serving as an information center and an attractive destination. A distinguishing feature of the museum is the authenticity and rarity of its exhibits, which explains the great interest in it. More than 20 events are held at the museum annually, including guided tours, class hours, meetings with scholars and well-known local figures. The museum helps revive traditional folk crafts and applied arts by displaying artisans' works and conducting master classes. The museum has been provided with all the facilities necessary to carry out local history work.
