At the A.N. Radishchev Museum a literary portrait evening 'A rumor about me will spread throughout all Russia…' was held for the 225th anniversary of A.S. Pushkin's birth for schoolchildren from the village of Radishchevo in the Kuznetsky District. The children attended the event using the Pushkin Card.

Museum guests learned about Pushkin's life and the main stages of his creative activity, as well as details of his final duel. Visitors learned what role the nanny Arina Rodionovna played in his works and why Alexander Sergeyevich was loved by his friends.

The portrait evening was accompanied by theatrical performances from the works 'The Queen of Spades' and 'Pushkin and the Nanny'. During the evening poems and romances set to the poet's words were performed. During the program the pupils took part in a Pushkin quiz about the magical world of his fairy tales, guessing works from excerpts and characters.

Decades have passed, centuries go by, generations change, yet Pushkin's lines again and again move people of all ages, from little children to the very elderly. And may Pushkin endure forever in Russia!

Events at the A.N. Radishchev Museum are held by appointment. Tel: 8 (84157) 5-16-25
