Events in Volgograd for Easter

Workshops.
Workshop "Easter Miracle" (12+). Ahead of the Easter holiday, which for Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant Christians will be celebrated on the same day this year — April 20 — the Volgograd Regional Youth Library will host workshops for making Easter magnets "Easter Miracle" by ART-Studio "Tvorchestvo". Using prepared blanks, polymer clay and acrylic paints, each workshop participant will be able to make and take home their own little "Easter Miracle".
The workshops will take place on April 16 and 17 at 16:00 at: 1 Cherepovetskaya St. Pre-registration with the organizer is required to participate: Maria Krokhmalyova or by calling the library at 94-45-44. The event lasts approximately 50 minutes.
Participation fee – 100 rubles.

At the Mashkov Museum of Fine Arts there will be a workshop "Easter Doll".

Tour.
The Local History Museum will conduct a themed tour "Easter – the Spring of the Soul".
The exhibition features more than 100 unique exhibits from the late 19th – early 20th centuries: icons on wood and metal, early printed books, liturgical items, and clerical vestments. Visitors will learn about the traditions of the Volga-Don multicultural region, monuments of Christian culture — an integral part of Russia's cultural and historical heritage and testimony to the unity of the Volga-Don region with Christian civilization.
