About museum
The museum invites visitors to view photo albums, documents and archival materials that testify to the village's history and culture.
The museum in the village of Oktyabrskoye in the Chelyabinsk Region was opened in 1987 at the initiative of V. G. Gnatyuk. It features collections of local flora and fauna, regional minerals, and the work of folk craftsmen: compositions embroidered in cross-stitch, doilies, crocheted items, papier-mâché products, decorative painting on household objects, and dolls in 19th-century ball gowns. Photo albums, documents and archival materials attesting to the village's history and culture are also on display. By visiting the museum, one can learn about the ancient history and the military glory of the region.
