Exhibition Hall of the Nevyansk Museum
About museum
The Nevyansk State Historical and Architectural Museum is today one of the leading cultural institutions of Sverdlovsk Oblast. The museum's collection comprises more than 60,000 items reflecting the 300-year history of Nevyansk. The museum began its history in 1947 and to this day consistently follows the fine traditions laid down by its founders: it warmly welcomes its visitors and immerses them in the era of the strengthening of the Russian state, recounting facts and legends from Nevyansk's history and about the founders of the mining and metallurgical Urals — the Demidovs. The true jewel of the Nevyansk State Historical and Architectural Museum is the Nevyansk Leaning Tower of the Demidovs — one of the most famous and mysterious monuments of the Urals.
