In 2020, an exhibition hall of the National Museum of the Republic of North Ossetia—Alania was opened on the site of the legendary Bagration Vakhtangov tobacco factory, the father of the famous theatre director Evgeny Vakhtangov. It hosts exhibitions of contemporary artists, architects and sculptors, showcasing works from museum collections and private collections. The hall presents paintings, graphic art and decorative-applied arts by well-known Russian artists. The hall offers programs for children and teenagers, master classes and lectures by prominent artists, and also provides the opportunity to meet the creators of the exhibited works.
