The Exhibition Hall of Krasnoturinsk is one of the few purpose-built exhibition spaces in the north of Sverdlovsk Oblast. The building housing the Exhibition Hall was commissioned in 1977. The total area of the Exhibition Hall is 678 sq. m., of which 365 sq. m. is exhibition space (5 exhibition halls). The Exhibition Hall is located on two levels of a five-story residential apartment building. More than 40 exhibitions are held annually on the exhibition premises: — from the collections of the Krasnoturinsk Local History Museum; — from private collections of individuals and legal entities; — from the collections of municipal and state museums of Sverdlovsk Oblast and the Russian Federation. In 2019 a major renovation of the interior premises of the Exhibition Hall was carried out. The two levels of the exhibition space were combined into a single exhibition area. The premises provide a barrier-free environment for wheelchair users.
