Exhibition hall of the Ukhta Museum of Local History

About museum

On August 21, 2021, an exhibition hall was opened in a former photo studio that operated from the 1950s to the 1990s. Originally the building was decorated with plaster stucco and decorative elements in the Stalinist Empire style, but numerous renovations had turned it into ordinary office premises. Two years were spent restoring the interiors and transforming the space into a modern exhibition hall. Now the space hosts local and visiting exhibitions and allows visitors to enjoy the atmosphere of the past.
