Museum of Living Paper, Saint Petersburg
About museum
There is nothing in the world comparable to the project developed by Nizhny Novgorod sculptors Elena Sashina and Natalia Golubeva. All items on display in the museum are made using the papier-mâché technique — a soft mixture of paper and glue that allows the creation of forms ranging from simple to complex. Thanks to the artisans' unconventional approach, their works delight customers not only in Russia but also abroad. The museum hosts creative events and also runs a Papier-Mâché School, where you can learn the technique and create original pieces. A visit to the museum will appeal to both children and adults.
