Volgodonsk Ecological and Historical Museum
About museum
\r\nVolgodonsk Ecological and Historical Museum, founded in February 1969, underwent changes from a people's city local-history museum at the Volgodonsk House of Pioneers to a state regional cultural institution. It is the largest state museum of this profile in the eastern part of the region. The museum has three active divisions. One of them is located in the center of Volgodonsk and occupies the first floor of a residential building. There are four exhibition halls where temporary exhibitions from the museum's collection are displayed, as well as exhibitions from state museums of Russia and private collections.
