Vyazemsky Local History Museum named after N. V. Usenko
About museum
On October 29, 1977, the Vyazemsky Local History Museum was opened to the public. It houses more than 17,000 exhibits, including household items of settlers from various governorates of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine: samovars, pictures, furniture, a gramophone, and more. The museum's halls present the settlement of the Vyazemsky district, the Great Patriotic War, and socio-economic development to the present day. The museum hosts meetings with veterans, internationalist soldiers, participants of wars and conflicts, honored citizens of the town and district, musicians, artists, poets, and lovers of their homeland.
