Ustyansky Local History Museum

\r\nOn March 4, 1984, the Ustyansky Local History Museum opened its doors to visitors. Initially it was located in two rooms of the Ustyansky forestry enterprise in the village of Shangaly. In 1987 it was moved to a small house of 68 sq. m in the settlement of Oktyabrsky. For the 75th anniversary of the district, a new two-story wooden museum building was constructed in the center of the settlement. The museum's collection numbers more than 17,000 items. The exhibitions introduce visitors to the fauna and archaeological excavations of the Ustyansky region, the life of local peasants, the history of wars and their participants, artists and craftsmen.
