Zaeltsovka Museum
About museum
In the spring of 2008 the Museum of History and Development of the Zaeltsovsky District was officially registered at Krasny Prospekt, 179. The three halls of the permanent exhibition present the history of the territory that later became known as the Zaeltsovsky District, as well as the contribution of its residents to the Great Victory, and the post-war establishment and development. The museum displays personal belongings, hand casts, the death mask of Vladimir Mikhailovich Mysh, items found by search teams at WWII battle sites, a GAZ-67 vehicle and other unique household objects. The museum hosts traditional guided tours, walking and off-site remote tours, as well as lectures and master classes. In addition, there is a program for working with visitors with special needs.
