\r\nIn 1970 A. V. Kiselev, Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR, initiated the opening of a people's picture gallery in the village of Ulyanovo in the Kaluga Region. He conveyed the beauty and character of these places in his landscape works. Artists from various cities, including Moscow, Leningrad, Irkutsk, Kaluga, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Kazan and Chelyabinsk, sent their works to the gallery. The collection includes works by P. V. Vasiliev, N. N. Zhukov, V. A. Serov, V. G. Tsyplakov, S. V. Gerasimov, N. M. Romadin, E. E. Moiseenko, A. P. Kibalnikov, L. I. Brodsky and many others. The gallery features works in a variety of genres and types.
