About museum

Tiksi is a bay of encounters, offering an opportunity to become acquainted with the visual arts of Yakutia. Yakut artists are known for works that significantly address the socialist transformation of the lives of northern peoples, as well as for a philosophical interpretation of the new that came with the revolution into the spiritual world of the Yakuts, Tunguses and Yukaghirs. The museums contain a large collection of Yakut graphic art.
