About museum

In 1976 the Union of Artists of the USSR and Yakutia donated free of charge to the Tiksi Museum of Fine Arts and Arctic Culture — a branch of the National Art Museum of the RS (Y) — the northernmost art collection. It consists of unique items selected by professionals. Thus, the museum in the settlement of Tiksi represents a heritage from the past that still attracts numerous visitors.
