Surgut City Park of Culture and Recreation
About museum
In the 1970s, the City Park of Culture and Recreation was opened in Surgut and became a favorite place for residents. In 1982, OJSC 'Surgutneftegaz' purchased six rides for the park, which made it possible to establish a cultural and leisure center. In 1997 the park was transferred to budget funding and became a municipal institution. Events dedicated to Russian commemorative dates, as well as important projects and programs, are held here. The park covers an area of 4.5 hectares, one third of which is forest and pinewood. The grounds feature rides from domestic and foreign manufacturers, including children's, family and extreme attractions.
