About museum

The Local History Museum is Branch No.1 of the Municipal Budgetary Cultural Institution "Center for Folk Art and Cultural and Leisure Activities". The museum features a variety of exhibitions reflecting the history of the settlement and the district. For example, "Forgotten Antiquity", "They Fought for the Motherland" (dedicated to local front-line veterans), "The Best People of Tyazhinsky Land" (dedicated to those who made a significant contribution to the district's development), "A Feat Cast in Bronze" and "Chernobyl: Days of Trial". The museum regularly holds various exhibitions and projects devoted to individual, professional and distinctive artists, and to masters of decorative and applied arts.
