About museum

In 1994 the District Museum was opened, located in a historical monument - the former shop of merchant Lobastov. It presents three main sections: 'Living Antiquity — Alive' (archaeological finds, traditional rural Rus', Russian homespun textiles), 'Against Oblivion' (the participation of district residents in the Great Patriotic War) and 'The History of Life on Shelabolikhinsky Land' (from the first settlement to the present day, including the Civil War of 1918–1919).
