'Bunker-42' is a museum-historical complex located in the center of Moscow, close to the Taganskaya metro station. It is situated 65 meters underground and covers 7,000 square meters. During the Soviet period it served as a backup command post for the Long-Range Aviation of the Soviet Union. In 2006 it was converted into a Cold War Museum. The museum features an exhibition dedicated to the history of the Cold War as well as various themed tours. Here you can see a simulation of a nuclear bomb explosion and the launch of a nuclear missile. This unique complex allows visitors to learn about the history of the Cold War and experience the atmosphere of that era.
