Museum of Moscow's Municipal Services (Pavilion No. 5)
About museum
The Museum of Moscow's Municipal Services is located in the historic Pavilion No. 5 “Physics” at VDNKh. It is a place where visitors can learn about the comprehensive system of municipal services in Moscow, which employs more than half a million people. They are responsible for cleaning and sanitary maintenance of urban areas; supplying the city with gas, water, heat, and electricity; comprehensive improvement of public spaces; and major repairs of buildings. The museum features three main zones — “Administration,” “Apartment,” and “City” — which include 19 thematic exhibitions with 92 original exhibits and interactive elements. Here you can learn about the activities of Moscow’s municipal services, which work around the clock and without days off to make the city comfortable and safe for all its residents. The museum presents a variety of interesting exhibits that help explain how Moscow's municipal services function.
