In Poim you can feel the atmosphere of ancient Rus and become acquainted with the traditions and customs of the past.

Poim charms with its unique architectural appearance, which immortalized the individual way of life of the merchant, trader, craftsman, teacher, peasant and priest. In 1895 the museum building was constructed — an architectural monument of the late 19th century; it presents various crafts and trades, shoemaker's and felt-maker's workshops, the parlor of a Poim townsman, a trading shop and other exhibits. In Poim, leatherworking, shoemaking, blacksmithing, cooperage, pottery, hat-making, tailoring, rope-making industries, spinning and felting, oil presses, mills and many other crafts were widely developed. The museum still hosts fairs and markets, and at the A.P. Anisimova Memorial House-Museum you can learn about the traditions and customs of the past. Poim is an opportunity to feel the atmosphere of ancient Rus and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery.
