Perevoz Museum and Exhibition Center

About museum

In 2001 a museum was established in the town of Perevoz on the basis of the local history museum of the Perevoz Secondary School. In August 2002 a museum and exhibition center was created, which in December of the same year received the status of a "People's Museum". Today it houses three exhibition halls, a temporary exhibition hall and a presentation area. The exhibitions include: nature — "Zapovednoe Pripyanye", history — the life and work of the late 19th — early 20th centuries "Pripyanye — solace of my heart", as well as the life and work of the second half of the 20th century "Father's House — My Home in Pripyanye". The exhibition area totals 165 sq. m. In 2013 a structural subdivision of the museum was opened in the village of Veldemanovo.
