Sherstyanik Park of Culture and Recreation
About museum
Sherstyanik Park of Culture and Recreation was named after a wool‑washing factory that used to be located in this area. However, this name is now rarely used, and most locals call it the 'Old Park', the 'Factory Park', or the 'Factory Forest'. The park contains several monuments and sculptures. It regularly hosts celebrations such as 'Farewell, Maslenitsa!', Victory Day, May Day, and Russia Day, as well as events for children, youth, and families. The park also holds concerts by creative groups, workshops in various arts and crafts, and exhibitions by artists, photographers, and artisans of decorative and applied arts.
