About museum

The Nature Department of the Artem Historical and Local Lore Museum has been introducing residents and visitors of all ages to the unique nature of the Far Eastern region for over 20 years. A variety of animals live here, and almost the entire spectrum of taiga vegetation is represented. The uniqueness of this land knows no bounds — one could speak about its flora and fauna for hours and still not cover half of it. Museum visitors can also view works by local artists and creative people, displayed in temporary exhibitions that appear almost every month.
