The Local History Department presents visitors with exhibitions that allow them to learn about the nature of the Anapa district and the city’s rich history. The exhibition “Anapa — City of Military Glory” displays rare coins, weapons, samples of military uniforms, photographs and documents related to the combat activities of Russian and Soviet soldiers. In the exhibition “Anapa Street” you can trace changes in the city’s architectural appearance and view unique goods and photographs from Anapa family albums. The exhibitions “Fauna and Flora of the Anapa District” and “Flora and Fauna of the Black Sea” feature insects, minerals, Anapa’s therapeutic resources, marine animals and fish, as well as products and documents of renowned Anapa winemakers.
