About museum
\r\nOn the second floor of the Novensky model rural House of Culture there is a branch of the Ivnya Local History Museum, established in January 2005 on the basis of a museum-ethnographic room. It houses ethnographic exhibits and household items, as well as materials devoted to the history and culture of the village of Novenkoye, its notable natives, and the combat path of the 219th Rifle Division, which defended the village during the Battle of Kursk. The branch has been led by two generations of directors: Nadezhda Timofeevna Shishlakova (2005-2010) and Galina Sergeevna Furmanova (since 2011).
