About museum

Primorye has opened the region's only museum dedicated to the iconic instrument of Russian culture — the Russian samovar. It displays exhibits made around 1746, as well as the first samovars that arrived in Primorye from Malorossiya (Little Russia) at the end of the 19th century. Visitors can see the first “samovar multicooker,” learn many interesting things about our country’s samovar culture, and take part in various events held by the museum. All this was made possible thanks to Alexander and Angelina Getmanov, who took on the task of preserving the world cultural heritage embodied by the Russian samovar.
