Zlatoust Arms Factory Museum
About museum
In 2015 the Zlatoust Arms Factory Museum was opened in honor of the factory's 200th anniversary. The museum's exhibits include uniquely decorated edged weapons by craftsmen of the first half of the 19th century, pieces made of bulat and Damascus steel, artistic cast iron from the Kasli foundry, works by contemporary Zlatoust masters, and much more. The museum features a large collection of metal engravings, tableware, early 20th-century engravings, and Soviet combat daggers. In total, the museum houses more than 1,200 exhibits. Visitors can not only view the interesting items but also handle edged weapons decorated using the metal-engraving technique. Thus, the museum presents a rich collection of historical objects whose value is priceless.
