The Once Upon a Time in Zadonye Museum was created on the basis of the 19th-century regional cultural heritage site 'Manor House with an Arch'.

The exhibition concept 'About People and For People' reveals the life of the social estates of the Zadonsky Uyezd at the end of the 19th century through everyday traditions, crafts, holidays, and the history of the Malikov family, second-guild merchants and owners of the manor — an urban merchant building.

Interactive tours filled with reliable historical facts, authentic exhibits that form the basis for hands-on master classes in which visitors take direct part, create the atmosphere of a living museum and make the visit vivid and unforgettable.
