Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve is part of the Moscow State United Museum-Reserve "Kolomenskoye — Izmaylovo — Lyublino". The history of the ancient suburban village of Kolomenskoye dates back to the 14th century. It was the summer estate of the Moscow tsars. There are 19 historical and cultural monuments on the Kolomenskoye grounds, 11 of which have federal significance. Here you can see the Church of the Ascension, the St. George Bell Tower, the Vodovzvodnaya (Water-Lifting) Tower, the 1825 Palace Pavilion, and the reconstructed palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich. Exhibitions, concerts, and guided art programs are held here. Entry to the grounds is free; visiting hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, and on Saturdays from 11:00 to 19:00.
