Military Equipment Museum "Victory Park"

About museum

On May 9, 2015, in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Military Equipment Museum "Victory Park" was opened. Its open-air grounds display examples of Soviet and Russian armaments: armored and transport vehicles, anti-aircraft missile systems, and artillery. The museum features various exhibits, as well as a monument to Hero of the Soviet Union, Army General V. F. Margelov, and a commemorative plaque dedicated to the blood donors of the city of Cherepovets. The museum has become for residents a symbol of remembrance of the heroic chapters of Russia's military history and a place to feel a connection with the generation of victors and to pay tribute to the defenders of the Fatherland.
