About museum

The museum was created to give people the opportunity to learn about wedding etiquette, the traditions of the St. Petersburg wedding, and to understand the meaning of the wedding rite (venchanie). It is dedicated to generations of Russians who made a significant contribution to preserving the family's spiritual and cultural heritage. The museum exhibits items related to weddings and also offers workshops on making wedding accessories and sewing dresses for the bride and bridesmaids. Visitors can engage with traditional knowledge and principles of marriage that help them avoid losing themselves in difficult life situations.
