Museum 'With the Taste of the Russian Arctic'
About museum
Artifacts are exhibited only in the Museum 'With the Taste of the Russian Arctic': the entire history of the Arkhangelsk Seaweed Plant is unfolded in objects, photographs, and documents.
\r\n
\r\nThe museum displays exclusive collections of photographs from the 1920s-30s, seaweed-harvesting tools, ship models, and a wide variety of seaweed products.
\r\n
\r\nThe most interesting point of the route is the reconstruction of a lab assistant's workbench from the mid-20th century — our photo zone. Every substance can be examined in detail, and each type of seaweed can be studied by handling it.
\r\n
\r\nA Pomor karbas is located in the center of the hall. An improvised 'sail', created from a real industrial filter, serves as a screen for projecting archival photos and video materials.
