About museum

The Russian Mustard Museum is an interactive exhibition dedicated to the history of mustard use by peoples from Ancient Greece through to the modern achievements of the mustard industry. In this museum you will learn many interesting facts about the spread of mustard in Russia, and you will also have the opportunity to view exhibits from the museum collection, a scale model of the mustard factory and the Sarepta trading house in Saint Petersburg, as well as original pieces of equipment from the mustard factory in Sarepta. In addition, you can visit the digital electronic "Mustard Library" and even try producing mustard oil on presses using techniques from 200 years ago.
