The St. Petersburg Metro Museum was opened in 2005 on Dekabristov Island. It presents information on the development of public transport in St. Petersburg, as well as the metro's architecture and its operation in the modern world. Visitors can enter a driver's cab and the station duty officer's workplace, and can also look at the layout of the underground railway tracks. In addition, the museum displays exhibits dedicated to the history of the construction of the St. Petersburg Metro. Here visitors can learn more about the metro and gain new impressions.
