The museum illustrates the history of Siberia and the Pervomaysky District; it houses photographs of those who built the railway line, records of the construction of the first timber houses, the first bridge across the Inya River, a steam locomotive that ran on the tracks, the water tower at Inskaya station, and a tent that once stood where the current Sibirskaya station is located. The museum's exhibits depict the everyday life of grandparents and great-grandparents, and there is also an exhibition on the Great Patriotic War and local armed conflicts. For visitors of all ages, the museum offers tours and events on a variety of themes, including talks and guided tours, quiz games, intellectual games, and master classes on making rag dolls and protective (amulet) dolls.
