A museum of science and technology, "Point of Gravity", has opened in Tomsk. It is located on the fourth floor of the Kvantorium technopark. All instruments and equipment for its outfitting were purchased in Germany. The museum invites visitors to explore the laws of natural science, participate in scientific experiments, and get hands-on with the fundamentals of science. It features five themed zones: physics, aero- and hydrodynamics, electricity and magnetism, mathematics, and optics and light. There are 71 exhibits on-site. Visitors can learn how gears and gyroscopes work, understand the conversion of kinetic energy, read about Archimedes' principle, gas ionization, active optics, and other scientific phenomena. You can launch a space rocket, steer a sailboat, go through a maze, and create lightning. The museum demonstrates that science can be interesting and appealing to people of all ages.
