The Medical Museum of A.I. Evdokimov MGMSU houses one of the largest collections of medical instruments and devices in Russia. The exhibition covers the history of medicine in Petrine Russia and the establishment of the first medical schools. On display are medical instruments and the personal belongings of well-known physicians. The museum devotes considerable attention to the history of MGMSU named after A.I. Evdokimov, and also displays awards, personal items and Alexander Ivanovich's "office." The museum also presents materials related to the emergence and development of dentistry in Russia, including personal items of dental scientists, scientific works, books and notes, medical instruments, materials and devices. Of particular importance are five dental machines (including two dentist's units) that are still operational. The oldest of them was produced in 1890. The museum holds classes for medical students, and the older generation of teachers and professors can appreciate the progress of scientific and practical achievements in dentistry.
