About museum
The Sheremetyevo International Airport History Museum is located on the fifth floor of Terminal F. In an originally designed exhibition area of 500 sq. m there are valuable exhibits that tell the airport's priceless history since 1958. The exhibition includes the first master plan and the enterprise's banner, historical aviation and meteorological instruments, the iconic number "2" from the façade of Terminal F, as well as documents and photographs. The museum provides information about the first passenger flight, key airlines, and aviation safety. Visitors can also see a cross-section of the runway's artificial pavement, models of airfield machinery and vehicles, and the uniforms of airport employees from different periods. The museum is open to visitors and offers a pleasant and informative experience.
