About museum
The only Immanuel Kant museum in Russia is located in a 14th-century building — the Cathedral on Kant Island (German: Kneiphof). At the walls of the Cathedral is the tomb of Immanuel Kant.

\r\nThe museum is devoted to the life and legacy of the thinker whose worldview profoundly reshaped the European tradition. Immanuel Kant's philosophy was formed in the context of his native city — Königsberg. The exhibition recounts the history of the site, from the Prussians and the era of the knights to the present day, and the fate of its genius.

\r\nClassical museum methods here are combined with digital technologies. Nine halls across four floors offer more than 2,000 exhibits, including rare editions of Kant's works, household items, archaeological finds, and reconstructed interiors of the Wallenrodt Library.
