Art Glass Museum, Sloboda Village
About museum
The pride and treasure of the Art Glass Museum is a complex that includes a working glassblowing workshop and an exhibition space. It features works that have repeatedly participated in nationwide and regional exhibitions and are based on the Tver school of artistic glassmaking, which originated at the Kalinin Glass Factory in the late 1960s. The museum houses a unique collection of more than one hundred original works from different years, created by Honored Artists of Russia Irina and Mikhail Marshumov and continued by the dynasty's successor, Anton Marshumov. The museum offers a glassblowing show, a guided tour introducing the Tver school of artistic glassmaking and the stories behind each exhibit, and the opportunity to purchase unique handmade souvenirs.
