Svetlogorsk Maritime Exhibition Center

About museum

Covering an area of over four thousand square meters, it houses two exhibitions. The first provides information about the Baltic Sea—its origin, seafaring and the history of the Baltic countries. The second exhibition is the most significant ethnographic collection in Russia, titled "People of the Sea." It presents the everyday life, religion and culture of Southeast Asian countries, as well as aspects of their lives related to nature and water. The center is equipped for people with limited mobility and for baby strollers. Here all visitors can obtain interesting and informative material.
