Memorial House-Museum of Marina Tsvetaeva in Bolshevo
About museum
\r\nThe Bolshevo dacha is a single-storey log house built in the 1930s which, from 1937 when it belonged to the NKVD, became the home of Sergey and Ariadna Efron (the husband and daughter of M. I. Tsvetaeva). On June 19, 1939 the poet Marina Tsvetaeva returned from emigration with her son Georgy and spent her last summer in this house. On August 27 Ariadna was arrested; on October 10 Marina's husband was arrested; and the poet herself left the house on November 10. On September 20, 1992 the house was identified and the Marina Tsvetaeva Memorial Apartment Museum in Bolshevo was established. In 2013, after restoration and conversion into a museum, the house was opened and the street next to it was named in honor of the poet. This municipal museum is a unique complex surrounded by century-old pines, where the poet's and her family's furniture, books and personal belongings have been preserved.
