Pavlovo-Posad Historical and Art Museum attracts tourists and city residents to an engaging journey into the past. In 1971 the Pavlovo-Posad Historical and Art Museum (formerly the local history museum) was established in the bell tower building of the Resurrection Church. In 2003 the museum received the status of a historical and art museum, and since January 1, 2019 it has been a department of the Pavlovo-Posad Museum and Exhibition Complex, which includes the V. V. Tikhonov House-Museum and the "Knyazhy Dvor" Museum. The museum's halls display Pavlovo-Posad shawls and scarves, Soviet-era posters, items of handicrafts and trades, wooden art objects, items of peasant, urban, petty-bourgeois, and merchant life from the late 19th to the early 20th century, documents and photographs, as well as archaeological artifacts from the Neolithic and Early Bronze Age. A visit to the museum is an engaging journey into the past that attracts both tourists and local residents.
