On December 25, 2015, the MBUK "Mozhaysky Cultural and Leisure Center" was founded; as of 2022 it houses about 2,000 exhibits. The museum has accepted for temporary storage 500 items from the "Lest We Forget" exhibition and 200 items from the "Time Has Chosen" exhibition. The exhibition department hosts master classes, exhibitions, and guided programs for "Active Longevity" groups. Currently the museum's main collections are formed: Visual and Decorative-Applied Arts, Numismatics, Archaeology, Rare Books, Documents, and Historical and Everyday Objects. The department also carries out attribution, cataloguing, and entries into inventory books. Open to visitors are the exhibitions: "City-Warrior, City-Fortress, City-Shrine", "Lest We Forget", "Time Has Chosen", and "The Culture of Mozhaysk in the Second Half of the 19th–20th Centuries". The hall features a unique model showing what the Mozhaysk fortress looked like in the time of Boris Godunov.
