Luga Local History Museum
About museum
In 1976 an exhibition dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the town was opened in Luga. On August 3 of the following year the Luga Historical and Local History Museum was opened. It is located in a wooden building from the late 19th century, designated as a cultural heritage site. The museum presents exhibits dedicated to the heroic deeds of Luga's residents in the Great Patriotic War, as well as to the region's nature and the Devonian period. The museum regularly hosts thematic exhibitions and solo shows by craftsmen and artists. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of those times and feel the historical depth.
