The municipal budgetary cultural institution "Krasnoyarsk Museum and Exhibition Center" has existed for more than 40 years. In 1978 an exhibition "Krasnoyarsk — Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow", dedicated to the city's 350th anniversary, was held in the Pokrovskaya Church on V. Surikov Street. In 1983 a branch of the city exhibition hall was opened in Zelenaya Roshcha at 13A Metallurgov Avenue, where it remains to this day. The Krasnoyarsk Museum and Exhibition Center hosts up to 15 exhibitions a year, as well as creative competitions, meetings with artists, and master classes. Honored Artists of Russia such as Toivo Ryannel and others have presented their works at the center. The center also took part in the international museum biennials "Dal" and "Love of Space". The institution continues to guide visitors along the path of art, promoting the work of Krasnoyarsk and Siberian artists.
