About museum

Located in the building of the Gotovskaya secondary school named after Hero of the Soviet Union A. N. Masnev, the Krasnensky District Local History Museum offers visitors an exhibition that includes 6 halls with various collections: numismatic, archaeological, items from the Great Patriotic War, materials about nature, culture, education and notable fellow-countrymen of Krasnensky District, and examples of decorative and applied arts. An especially important part of the museum is a large collection of ethnographic and household items, antique clothing and headwear of young girls and women, as well as objects related to cooperage and blacksmithing.
