Art Gallery of the village of Podgornoye

In January 1969 an art gallery was opened in the village of Podgornoye, which in 1995 was reclassified as a branch of the art museum. Currently the gallery's collection comprises 559 items, including 433 main and 126 research/auxiliary items. The museum collection includes works by well-known artists of Russia, the Siberian region and Tomsk, as well as paintings and graphic works from the period 1930–2000. The core of the holdings includes works by such notable artists as D. A. Kosmin, A. M. Gritsay, D. A. Nalbandyan, R. S. Zatulovskaya, T. V. Ryannel, V. S. Rogal, and others. In addition, a unique collection of works by amateur artists and pieces by folk craftsmen and artisans has been assembled. Over the years the gallery has accumulated extensive experience in educational and outreach activities. Regular exhibitions of works by professional artists from Tomsk and other regions are organized. The gallery also holds lectures and meetings for children to promote children's creativity.
